We’re excited to release the latest update to MyShiftManager—an upgrade focused on stability, usability, and introducing new tools that give managers more control and efficiency in everyday scheduling.
This release includes several new features, UI improvements, and fixes driven directly by feedback from our users. Here’s what’s new.
🚀 New Features for Managers and Teams
New Manager Tutorials
We’ve added step-by-step interactive tutorials to help managers get up to speed with:

These help new managers onboard faster and get the most out of the system.
Right-Click Menu for Leave Requests
Leave approvals are now much faster. A new right-click menu in the Requests tab allows quick Approve, Reject, or Delete actions.
Mobile Excel Downloads
You can now download scheduler and report data directly to Excel, even when using the web app on mobile.
Settings Search Added
A new search bar in the Settings screen helps you instantly find the options you’re looking for.
Improved “Working On Date” Widget
A new filter hides shifts that began the previous day—useful for teams with night shifts running past midnight.
Timesheet Enhancements
Timesheets now include:

An Additional Activity free-form field

A value field for tracking extra paid work
Clickable Dashboard Widgets
Some widgets can now be clicked to view deeper detail, making the dashboard more useful for managers.
New Timesheet Submission Setting
Workers can now be allowed to submit timesheets earlier—even for shifts that haven’t yet started.
